When I’m not plotting murders (on paper, of course), I’m busy writing steamy romantic suspense from my home in Northern California. My stories are a blend of heart-pounding tension and steamy contemporary romance designed to keep you guessing—and blushing—until the very last page.

I’ve always believed that the best stories, much like life itself, come with unexpected twists. I’m a first-generation Portuguese-American, and those roots run deep—I grew up working on dairies, learning the grit and heart of small-farm life right here in Northern California.

I eventually traded the dairy for the lab, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. I was actually on my way to dental school when I decided to veer onto the path of motherhood—the best decision I ever made! Today, that scientific background serves a different purpose. It helps me research the perfect, believable alibi for my characters. 😉
